OMG Racing Confirm Kyle Ryde for 2024 Bennetts British Superbike Championship

OMG Racing are delighted to confirm that Kyle Ryde will retain his seat with the team for the 2024 Bennetts British Superbike Championship. This confirms conjecture that OMG Racing’s formidable lineup will remain the same next season, with Ryde’s teammate Ryan Vickers having signed a 2-year deal at the close of 2022.

Both riders will stay onboard the Yamaha R1 next year, with the team having recently announced a multi-year deal to represent the manufacturer as the Officially Supported team from next season onwards. 2024 will be Ryde’s fourth season with the Cannock-based outfit, and with the 26-year-old currently third in the Riders’ Standings, the team are hoping for a successful end to the season.

Alan Gardner, OMG Racing Team Owner – “Kyle has proven himself to be not only a formidable opponent, but a fantastic asset to the team over the last 3 seasons. Confirming he’ll be with us again next season means that we can carry on pushing forward in order to retain the Bennetts British Superbike title with the same lineup, and as we all know, consistency is key at this level. Next year is exciting for us as we step up our relationship with Yamaha, so to enter that with both Kyle & Ryan is very exciting for the whole team.”

Paul Curran, OMG Racing Team Principal – “As with any team, maintaining a strong rider lineup is paramount, and I firmly believe we have the best pairing on the grid, so with Ryan already secured for 2024, it was only natural that we’d want to keep Kyle. He’s a firm part of the OMG family, and undoubtedly one of the fastest riders in the UK right now, so I’m happy he’s continuing with us into next year, and we can keep carrying our momentum forward, knowing that we’ll hit the ground running at the first round.”

Kyle Ryde, LAMI OMG Racing Superbike #77 – “I am really happy to continue with the OMG Racing team for the 2024 season. We’ve come a long way together since I joined the team in 2021 and feel like we have made big steps with the bike and myself at all circuits this season. With the commitment and support from Yamaha next year we should be in an even stronger position for 2024. I want to thank Alan, Paul and the whole OMG Racing team for their continued support. We will now keep focused and set our sights on continuing to fight for the championship this season.”
