Former Superstock 1000 champion, Josh Elliott, joins OMG Racing

Birmingham, Monday 4th June 2018.

British Superbike team OMG Racing UK are delighted to announce that Josh Elliott, the 2015 British Superstock 1000 Champion, will be joining the team and competing for OMG in the Superstock 1000 class.

Josh, who has a great record within the 1000 class, is looking forward to testing the OMG stock bike out in Aragon this week. “I’m very happy to be joining the OMG Racing team. I’m excited to ride the new Suzuki GSXR1000 as I’ve heard great things about it and I’ve seen first-hand how good it is on track,” says Josh.

While in Aragon, there will also be plenty of opportunity for Josh to get to know the OMG team prior to the next round at Snetterton.

“Already this season I’ve been in the garage as I’m good friends with Gino Rea and I have seen how well the team work together and get along. I’d like to thank OMG Racing for giving me this opportunity to ride for them and I hope we can share great success together.”

Team Manager, Paul Curran, is looking forward to seeing Josh on board the OMG Racing stock bike and building on his previous achievements.

“Josh has had many a years success in the Superstock 1000 Championship and, with the package that we can provide for him, we are sure he will be able to replicate his previous success.

OMG Racing are excited to welcome Josh to the team, and are eagerly looking ahead to the next round at Snetterton on June 15th – 17th.
