Josh Elliott is currently competing in his rookie season in the 2019 Bennetts British Superbike (BSB) Championship aboard the OMG Suzuki GSX-R1000, progressing from our Superstock 1000 bike in 2018. He recorded his and OMG’s first ever BSB win at Silverstone in a spectacular Round One, which also saw him take his first podium – not bad for a rookie eh?

Jossi is a former Superstock 1000 Champion (2015) and moved to OMG midway through the 2018 season to ride our Stock 1000 bike. He took his first win the same season at Thruxton and went on to score further podiums at Cadwell and Silverstone.
Josh started riding at the age of three and was heavily inspired by his dad Jules – who was also a racer. Having started out on a PW50 Yamaha Scrambler, Josh moved onto his first minimoto bike and would go on to be a double Irish champion in the class (and scratch the hell out of his mum’s floors according to Jules).

The accomplishments from there just kept growing; Jossi became the only Irish rider to ever be selected to compete in the MotoGP Red Bull Rookies Cup and followed that up by becoming the youngest podium finisher in the German IDM Supersport Championship.
